We offer crews that specialize in hand treatment of FireSmart projects. Our crews are able to cut, buck, prune and pile vegetation to reduce the risk of loss from wildfires. Our crews then conduct small pile burning or chipping to reduce the excess vegetation. We have an extensive client list and have completed projects in B.C. and Alberta as well as National Parks. 

Our designated lawn crew specialize in weekly mowing of both private and commercial properties throughout the City of Kamloops. Along with this service we have the ability to do small landscaping jobs, lawn maintenance and yard clean up work. Our company is fully equipped with all the necessary tools including mowers and a dump trailer. 

We offer snow removal both plowing and hand shoveling. Our crews are equipped to perform this work in a timely efficient manner and have the ability to meet all of our customers needs. 

H.I.S. Wildfire FS Inc. is currently under contract with the Ministry of Forests – Recreation and Trails Division. Under our current contracts we do routine inspections and maintenance for over 70 sites throughout the Okanogan and Thompson Okanogan. We also have the ability to build and install picnic table, kiosks and outhouses for both private and government clients. We have also in the past done maintenance for regional district parks. 

We have supplied ground crews for wildfire suppression activities throughout Western Canada.  We have a highly trained, skilled workforce ready to meet our clients needs throughout the fire season.

We have the ability to do spring parking lot cleaning for small corporate clients and strata. Crews are also available to clean parkades when needed.

H.I.S. prides itself on its ability to meet the needs of its customers and we are always willing to look at any unique or miscellaneous job. Examples of some services we are current under contract to do are property inspections, picking up and changing out garbage cans, large pile burning for industry, road inspections for forestry operations, deployment and retrieval of insect survey traps.
